MM20 (Spectra-Precision)

The Spectra MobileMapper 20 is an easy-to-use, complete mapping solution for GIS applications. As an upgraded version of the MobileMapper 10, this handheld data collector features larger storage memory, a bright new VGA screen, a higher resolution camera and a 3.5G cellular modem. With optional on-board software, it provides a short learning curve and quick field data exchange.

Connectivity

An essential accessory to GNSS devices, this field controller has internal GPS capability, allowing surveyors to log assets in real-time with 1 to 2-meter accuracy. It also has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5G connectivity and a 5-megapixel camera for capturing images on the job site.

Processor and Memory

The Mobile Mapper 20 features a high-resolution color touchscreen display for viewing graphics and maps in sharp detail, even in bright sunlight. This GIS data collector also has a fast 600 MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB internal memory, and a high capacity SD card slot for saving a large amount of field data.

Spectra MobileMapper Field Software

With optional Mobile Mapper Field Software, the MobileMapper 20 is the perfect solution for GIS data collection, asset management, area measurements, maps creation and updates. This data collection software is very intuitive and easy to use, requiring minimum training.

To achieve half meter accuracy, the included MobileMapper Office is used to post process raw GPS data collected with the MobileMapper Field software. Through an Internet connection, this desktop office software automatically finds and downloads the base data files that match the collected raw data and calculates corrected positions.

Windows OS

Equipped with Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5, this surveying tool allows you to use mobile versions of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, and third-party GIS applications to meet your requirements.

Compact and lightweight, the MobileMapper 20 can withstand harsh weather conditions with its IP-54 rating. It is also powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery that lasts up to 20 hours.
